Over the past 10 years I have driven over 300, 000 km in my Toyota Echo. It served me well but I needed a more spacious vehicle that could handle various driving conditions for my commute to work. I was set on purchasing a Toyota Matrix when a friend lent me her 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback. I fell in love with the Mazda 3! It handled well and felt powerful - I didn't feel timid trying to pass transport trucks on windy days. There is ample room for all of my work stuff and when my husband and I went on a ski trip we had enough room for our ski equipment and overnight bags. The heated seats have been a godsend this winter and the car plows through snow covered back roads. With the new law that passed for handsfree, I'm glad I upgraded and got the GT model with Bluetooth. I am now a converted Mazda lover and look forward to the next 300, 000 km with my Mazda 3!
