The 2019 Mazda CX-3 Unveiled in New York
May 14 2018, Orillia Mazda
The Mazda CX-3 is currently one of the most popular models in the growing sub-compact SUV segment. With its refined styling and dynamic drive, the Mazda CX-3 has earned a popular place in a segment that includes several recently introduced models.
In addition, its fuel-efficient SKYACTIV engine is a bonus for many as it offers an impressive blend of performance and fuel economy. After all, we want our SUVs to be efficient but also fun to drive.
And now we're getting a brand new Mazda CX-3 for 2019. The model presented at the New York International Auto Show in April is greatly improved and gives even more reasons to love it.
G-Vectoring Control for the New 2019 Mazda CX-3
For starters, the new 2019 Mazda CX-3 presented at New York is a powerful machine. It offers 148 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque from its 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-G four-cylinder engine. The 2019 Mazda CX-3 also receives the G-Vectoring Control system for the first time.
Introduced on the new Mazda3, GVC is a device that uses engine torque to stabilize the vehicle at low speeds or on the highway. The result is that when you’re in the city, you’ll feel more comfortable because you’ll feel less body movement from the car. On the highway, the driver will notice that the steering wheel is more stable and needs less corrections to keep it on the right path.
In addition to the new G-Vectoring Control system, the new 2019 Mazda CX-3 will receive new interior materials to enhance the refinement and quality of the cabin. A full leather interior will, for example, be offered in the new CX-3 GT.
